Did you know over on #bookstagram that March is often referred to as Middle-Grade March? It’s a month were lovers of books decided to delve into a genre normally reserved for little ones. Combined, we have read quite a few Newbery Award winners and honor recipients. We think these are a perfect starting place for those of you who are new to the genre because they have been honored for a reason. While written at a level appropriate for young kids, the stories themselves can speak to all of us. We hope you enjoy this round-up of our favorites as well as the Newbery award-winning books we hope to get to for the Beyond the Bookends Reading Challenge.
