“There is more wisdom and humor in his cartoons and rhymes than in any number of lengthy and highbrow books.”- Richard Branson about Dr. Seuss
A Poem for Dr. Suess
I grew up reading Dr. Seuss and always loved his rhymes
It is something that I tried to do one too many times.
When I got older and had three kids that I could call all mine,
I realized that Dr. Seuss was a man ahead of his time.
There is usually a deeper message in what seems like whimsy and fun
His stories are lessons wrapped in silly and provide joy for everyone.
From saving the environment to the nature vs. nurture debate,
Theodore Gisel took larger life lessons and made them so everyone could relate.
Below are a list of my favorite quotes from Theodore Gisel himself
So kick up your feet and grab your favorite Dr. Seuss Book from the shelf.
