We’ve all been there. We finish a book and we don’t want to let it go. When it comes to kids this happens a lot with the Harry Potter series. The final book is finished and then it’s all they can talk about. They act it out, they turn sticks into wands, and they shout spells at each other at top volume.

Of all the books related to Harry Potter, this book is in such heavy rotation at my house that it permanently lives on my son’s bedside table. “I need it for reference, Mom” is a constant reply when I try to reshelve it.
Every spell you can think of is listed in this book along with pronunciation, origin information, the spell effects, and even tips on how to cast it. Little bits of trivia are sprinkled throughout as well.
Harry Potter and the Art of Spying by Lynn Boughey
We came across this pick from books related to Harry Potter at the Spy Museum in Washington D.C. Being the Harry Potter-obsessed family we are, we had to bring it home.
