Once again, I’ve rounded up the books that will be chosen as February 2026 book club picks by the Reese Witherspoon, Oprah, Read with Jenna, and GMA Book Clubs. These have NOT yet been officially released (as of now, they are all being announced on February 3), but I am fairly confident in our intel.

February 2026 Reese Witherspoon Book Club Spoiler
Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club, Hello Sunshine, was the first of the modern celebrity book clubs to catch on in recent years. Started in 2017, her list features thrillers, romances, historical fiction, YA, non-fiction, and modern fiction.

Anna Finbow is a TV star who is gaining attention for her court case. She is publicly accused her daughter Mary’s therapist, Jean, of brainwashing her child for financial gain. Jean believes that Mary has suffered trauma at home and believes that she is the only therapist who can heal her. Jean is suing Anna for libel.
Anna’s employee, Gus, might be the key to the whole trial. But, Anna does not know that Gus knew Mary long before she ever met Anna.

This is a courtroom thriller that is also dual timeline. As the story of the trial moves forward, the reader learns about Gus’s relationship with Mary. The pacing of the book is perfect. It kept me on the edge of my seat as I tried to figure out where the story was headed. #gifted

February 2026 Read With Jenna Book Club Spoiler
Jenna Bush Hager started her book club on the Today Show back in the spring of 2019. They are often more literary than Reese’s picks and cover various thought-provoking topics.

Why Jackie Loves it
This is a romance with the perfect touch of magic. It made me think about fate and how much it plays a role in our lives vs. the future we make ourselves. What a fantastic adult debut for this author. #gifted

February 2026 Good Morning America Book Club Spoiler
GMA’s answer to Read with Jenna was to host their own celebrity book club. This one launched in the Fall of 2019, and it’s probably the best one of the bunch.

All her exes are dead, and she can’t figure out if she’s the monster or if there is someone else who is the villain in her story. Can she figure it out before James ends up dead?

Jackie’s Thoughts
I was enjoying this book about a magical school. Each of Raven, Atticus and Dorian have unique magical abilities. However, towards the end of the book, the entire feeling of the book shifted. It’s suddenly felt like a weird throuple situation with sexual content thrown in unnecessarily. This does not feel like a YA choice.

February 2026 Oprah Book Club Spoiler
Oprah doesn’t release her book club picks in the same way as the rest of the celebrity book clubs. She picks them when she likes – on no timetable. Her picks often span multiple months for reading and discussion as well.
Oprah is announcing her pick on February 24th. Given the books releasing that day, our money is on Kin by Tayari Jones!
