This is important business! I read the books in publication order. The other boys all read the books in various ways. However, we all agree that if you want to read the Percy Jackson books in chronological order and get the most out of the series, the following is the best way to read the books:

  1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Books 1-5)

BTB Elements and icons 10

There is a big age gap between the first five books of the Percy Jackson and the Olympian series and the next books. Some of the series refer to other series.

I think that the best way to read these books is chronologically because if you read them in publication order, you may get mixed up with storylines since Percy makes an appearance in all the books
