This first Percy Jackson book is about our beloved Percy, who discovers he is a demi-god and must recover Zeus’s stolen lightning bolt. He travels into the underworld to locate the lightning bolt and, at the same time, try to save his mother.

From the World of Percy Jackson: The Sun and the Star Hardcover by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson’s Will and Nico are back with their own story set in the world of Percy Jackson.

Nico, the son of Hades, has lost his mother, his sister, and a close friend. He’s also been outed against his will for dating Will Solace, son of Apollo. Now Nico is heading off on a quest to Tauratus and Will is insisting on coming along. But Nico is nervous that a son of Apollo won’t make it in the underworld.

Our kids love that Nico and Will got their own stand-alone story. They are fan-favorite characters that deserve their time in the spotlight.
