An Enchanting Secret Garden Bedroom to Love
When I think back to the most magical books of my childhood, I tend to think of classic children’s novels who have heroines with spirit and a dose of mischief who explore wondrous settings. Anne of Green Gables, The Little Princess, Pippi Longstocking, Heidi, and Matilda all rate high on my list of must-reads. Yet, Mary Lennox and the world she inhabits inside The Secret Garden has probably stayed with me the most as an adult which is why we wanted to create a Secret Garden Bedroom.
I’m a dreamer and the very idea of having my own hidden oasis is too irresistible for my imagination to ignore. I wanted to design a room based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s enchanting book, The Secret Garden.Â

Secret Garden BedroomÂ
Let’s start by painting the wall soothing Iceberg blue from Ben Moore. The sky like color is the perfect backdrop for all the Paper Flowers on the wall. I’m in love with these flowers and there are more colors and options available at the store. Personally, I would order at least two sets for a focal point!
The Bed for a Secret Garden Bedroom
Next up is the all important bed. I chose a Day Bed that evokes a park bench but in a whimsical green perfect for any garden lover! With such a statement bed (not to mention the flowers) this Pinch Pleat Bedding is the perfect balance to let the other elements shine. I adore the Bunny Throw Pillow and Flower Pillow – they match the Flower Sheets too!
The Perfect Accessories
Every good bedroom needs a Bookcase  and this lower one is perfect for both books and toys! I adore this Flower Stacker it’s a toy and decor in one! This Flower Painting is colorful and fun a light-up plant (plastic for ease) makes the perfect night light.
Last but not least is the Haba Flower Tent. I’ve been obsessed with this for years! If I had a girl, I would 100% own it if I had any little girls to enjoy it. It’s like having a hidden garden within your Secret Garden bedroom.

Very pretty! The Secret Garden is my “deserted island” book. I re read it every few years. I love it so much. Glad someone else does too.
